Book: A Stolen Life
Author: Jaycee Dugard
Time read: 7:30pm-9:00pm
I avioded listening ot the detailed description of th eJaycee Dugard story when it first started being aired on the news because seeing as how I am the mother of a young daughter, it was much too sad to hear about. I did however end up seeing this store in a local book store the other day and I felt compelled to buy it and read about her life. This book was definitely intense and I couldn't help but get swept away in her story as sh expained everything that she went through. In the very beginning of the book in the authors notes she was very honest and said that the book might be very confusing and jump around from different topics without notice and she was not kidding, the topics were random and she did jump around alot. I assumed that even though she only has a 5th grade education that someone would help her piece together her thoughts and make them flow a bit better throughout the book but that was not the case. She did however mention that if you want to read a less confusing book then get back to her 10 years from now when she gets a chance to sort it all out
